‘When we feel love and kindness toward others, it not only makes others feel loved and cared for, but it helps us also to develop inner happiness and peace.’ Dalai Lama.

Life can be incredibly challenging, and it can also be incredibly beautiful. However, for some people out there, their true sense of self diminishes due to the effects of day-to-day living. Clearly, when things in life spiral out of control, in whatever guise that comes in, it creates within the person a negative psychology. That negative psychology descends into bitterness, anger, resentment, jealousy, and a host of other emotions that only make life a dark place to be.

For some people, who have no real sense of self-awareness, they become victims to their emotional responses to life. Which makes the person caught up in those negative feelings, become like a cat on a hot tin roof. Everything becomes an overreaction, which then generates stress and anxiety.

For anyone going through such responses to life, they can project those dark, negative feelings onto others. Normally, when the person who’s lost touch with positive aspects of their personality, sees an individual who’s enjoying life, or is attempting to take their lives in a positive direction, it creates a reaction within them.

That reaction can be hoping that the person who’s happy or trying to make their lives better, will fall flat on their face and everything goes horribly wrong. They will come out with a barrage of put downs or snide remarks, or perhaps try to make that person look small in front of a group of people, you get the picture.

But in the cold light of day, for the person who dishes out such negative projections, how do they feel when they’ve done that? Will it make them feel good about who they are? Or, will it strike them down within, and bring on feelings of guilt? From my own personal experiences, those type of people, who dish out the negative stuff, don’t feel any remorse.

It’s only when an individual comes to terms with who they are, then perhaps all what they’ve done in the past will make them feel a sense of remorse. The new person that they want to become will bring about a mirror on themselves, and make them look at what they’ve done. It will also create an inner change to become kinder and more compassionate towards others.

Clearly, negative emotions like stress and anxiety, for example, is a distorted version of a person, and who they really are. Our stress hypnosis in Essex, is there to allow each person to get in tune with who they really are. How? Because it’s our role to unravel the negative stuff that goes on in their sub-conscious minds.

If an individual has lived all their life only knowing one way of relating to life and other people, but feel something within, that things aren’t right, then engaging with hypnotherapy is an option that offers a potential way forward. Those programs that create, stress, anxiety, bitterness, anger, and a host of other emotions, have been installed during childhood, and remain there forever, unless challenged.

To be kind and supportive, can be problematic, if a person is in an environment that requires its opposite. It could be in a tough working environment, or in a run-down part of town. In such situations, to show a kinder side to your nature will be seen as being weak. Alternatively, someone could be surrounded by people who would take advantage of that person’s kind and supportive nature.

If an individual is struggling with low self-esteem, depression, or a lack of confidence, and they have a kind side to their nature, but are being taken advantage of because of that, it can only intensify those negative emotions. Not only that, but it would make those who have those negative emotional responses, and are kind, to become withdrawn, too paranoid to be the person they really are.

What is the way forward in such an environment? If someone’s in a job and they hate the tough, cold natured competitive side to it, then they would need to ask themselves why are they are there in the first place? However, if that person has a lot of responsibilities and has to pay the bills, then it can feel like they’re trapped. But, if it’s impacting on their emotional health, they would seriously need to revaluate where they are in their life.

For those who are living in run down parts of town, they would have to be choosey about who they can be more compassionate towards. In an ideal world, a person who has those good qualities wouldn’t have to be so selective. But, if it involves choices that can keep them going in such a place, then those choices will have to be adhered to.

Our low self-esteem hypnosis in Essex, will assess each client on what they want for themselves and what they want from life. Once the knowledge is there, we can work on the client’s programs that make them feel that low sense of self. The goal for any person trapped in their minds and living the consequences of those traps, is to become empowered enough so that they can get on their feet and move forward in the right direction.

In the cold light of day, it’s always best to be a kind and compassionate person, because it creates a better sense of wellbeing within as a result. It also reaffirms human nature, that not everyone out there is bad, an act of kindness goes a long way. As I’ve outlined, it’s not always easy to be that person. There will always be those out there who get pleasure from being nasty to others. Such people have to be looked on as having issues in their minds and/or in their lives. But the eventual goal has to be, living and working in an environment where you can be the person you truly want to be. With empowerment and confidence, the journey in the right direction can begin.
